1. Eligibility to Drive on Hi-Car

To operate as a Hi-Car Driver, you must:

• Be above 21 years of age
• Hold a valid driver’s license and pass a background check
• Complete onboarding and training
• Drive only electric vehicles (EVs) provided or approved by Evoolv, our parent company

2. Vehicle Provisioning: Via Evoolv

All Hi-Car vehicles are electric and must be:

• Leased or purchased through Evoolv
• Properly maintained and kept in good condition
• Used exclusively for rides on the Hi-Car platform unless otherwise approved

3. Lease and Ownership Plans

Drivers may choose between daily or monthly instalment plans. Fees are automatically deducted from your earnings via the app. Missed payments or account misuse may result in suspension or repossession of the vehicle.

4. Driver Conduct

Hi-Car Drivers are expected to:

• Drive safely and follow all traffic laws
• Be polite, respectful, and professional with riders
• Never drive under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or fatigue
• Keep the vehicle clean and safe at all times
• Only accept rides through the Hi-Car app

5. Trip and Earnings

Driver earnings are subject to platform rules:

• Earnings are credited per completed trip
• Deductions include platform commission, lease repayments, and applicable taxes
• Bonuses and surge pricing may apply under certain conditions

6. Suspension & Termination

Your account may be suspended or terminated if you:

• Violate safety policies
• Fail to make lease or instalment payments
• Receive repeated low ratings or misconduct reports
• Attempt to manipulate the app, fares, or trip assignments

7. Insurance and Maintenance

Hi-Car vehicles are covered but require driver responsibility:

• All Hi-Car EVs come with third-party insurance through Evoolv
• Drivers are responsible for routine maintenance and safe operation
• Damages due to negligence will be charged to the driver

8. Ratings and Quality Assurance

Quality and accountability are maintained through ratings:

• Riders rate drivers after every trip
• Low ratings may trigger reviews or required retraining
• Drivers can also rate rider behavior

9. Data Usage and Monitoring

The Hi-Car Driver App uses real-time GPS and activity monitoring to ensure safety. Your driving behaviour, trip logs, and vehicle performance may be reviewed regularly.
